About the Department of Georgia American Gold Star Mothers

The Department of Georgia American Gold Star Mothers is a statewide chapter of American Gold Star Mothers, Inc., a nationally recognized Veterans Service Organization dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of our fallen heroes through continued service to veterans, active-duty service members, their families, and local communities.
Comprised of mothers who have experienced the loss of a son or daughter in military service, our organization is rooted in remembrance, fellowship, compassion, and volunteerism.
Across Georgia, our members participate in community outreach, remembrance events, educational initiatives, and partnerships that support veterans and military families while preserving the legacy of those who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Together, we remain committed to ensuring that the sacrifices of our fallen heroes and their families are never forgotten.
